Industry Technical Council membership kit

The mission of the Industry Technical Council (ITC) is to improve trucking equipment, its maintenance and maintenance management. The ITC has been  established since 1995 to inform, educate, and support the trucking industry state-of-the-art maintenance and technical procedures.

The ITC acts as a group where information can be exchanged. ITC meetings allow members to come together and exchange ideas and information amongst themselves and other elements of the industry, including vehicle designers, manufacturers, equipment, suppliers and maintenance specialists.

The ITC operates under the Australian Trucking Association’s Council, which formulates policy and ensures its implementation through the ATA’s Council Committees.

There are four levels of membership to the ITC, including Suppplier Membership, Supplier Membership with less than 10 employees, Consultant Membership, and an Individual Workshop Membership. These memberships all include great benefits such as input into the ITC decision making process, the opportunity to participate in ITC working groups, and VIP treatment at the Technical and Maintenance Conference each year. Membership to the ITC is valid for 12 months from the date of receipt of application and acceptance by the ATA ITC Membership Committee.

A highlight of each year is the annual Technical and Maintenace Conference in November, which aims to provide a forum for suppliers to the industry, workshop engineers and workshop managers to hear about and discuss the latest in technical and maintenance issues pertaining to the Australian trucking industry. The ATA ITC works in conjunction with the Australian Road Transport Suppliers Association to develop each year’s conference program.

Further information about the ITC, including more member benefits and the membership application form, are available in the ITC Membership Kit below.
